MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (WBOY) — In need of some spy equipment? You may want to visit this new store in Morgantown.
Electronics store Spysite.com, a one stop shop for safety, security, and surveillance gadgets, had its grand opening on Saturday.
Owner Diana Enisco explained that the company started as a personal safety store in 1995, selling pepper spray and related items, but they have since moved into security, surveillance, and manufacturing their own cameras.
Enciso said that her favorite item in the store is a hidden camera that looks like a soda bottle, and while these hidden cameras may seem like novelty items, they serve a real purpose in the community. Some clients have used the cameras to make sure their children are safe while in the midst of a shaky custody situation, while others have used the cameras to make sure no one is stealing from their business.
Adding to the equipment’s importance, Enciso also said that at times law enforcement has needed their services for situations that require custom hidden cameras.
“We work with investigators, so we have worked with counter drug programs, we have work against human trafficking, we have worked against child endangerment and other applications.”
The store is open Monday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and is located at 749 Chestnut Ridge Rd. You can also go to its website spysite.com at any time.
