Global Mobility Call 2024 Opens Visitor Registration

From November 19 to 21, Global Mobility Call will become the leading international event in sustainable mobility.

Global Mobility Call, exploring the present and future of mobility from November 19 to 21, is now open for visitor registration. This third edition, organised by IFEMA MADRID and Smobhub at the Recinto Ferial, will boast the participation of leading figures from the private sector and national and international institutions and bodies from diverse sectors involved in the development of sustainable mobility.

Partners Confirmed for Global Mobility Call 2024

The event has confirmed the presence of different Partners, including some of the main stakeholders in defining the future of the new mobility as companies, institutions and public administrations. 

Global partners include Iberdrola, Cepsa, EMT, Metro, Avanza, Renfe and Adif. Main Itinerary Partners include Alsa, System and Indra. In the Connected Partners category are Etra, Arriva, Total Energies and the Fundación Once. Also present will be the state company Servicios y Estudios para la Navegación Aérea y Seguridad Aérea (SENASA), Puertos del Estado, the public company Aeropuertos Españoles y Navegación Aérea (ENAIRE), the National Geographic Institute (IGN), the Directorate General for Roads, the company Ingeniería y Economía del Transporte (INECO), the Centre of Public Works Studies and Experimentation (CEDEX) and Aeropuertos Españoles y Navegación Aérea (AENA). All of these companies and institutions are attached to the Ministry of Transport and Sustainable Mobility.

The forthcoming edition of Global Mobility Call will also welcome the leaders responsible for mobility and transport in the cities of Boston, Cincinnati and Aurora in the United States. From Europe, there will be representatives from Copenhagen (Denmark), Munich (Germany), Krakow (Poland), Brussels (Belgium), Crete (Greece), Barcelos, Braga, Famalicão and Guimarães (Portugal), Bologna (Italy), Bordeaux (France) and Budapest (Hungary), as well as the Hovedstaden Region in Denmark and the Noord-Brabant Region of the Netherlands. From Latin America, GMC will welcome representatives from cities like São Paulo (Brazil), Valdivia (Chile), Montería, Bogotá and Medellín (Colombia), Hermosillo (Mexico), Cuenca (Ecuador), Costa Rica and Paraguay, just a sample of the accelerated international growth of Global Mobility Call, while the event will also receive representatives from Spain’s local and provincial authorities, regional governments and national institutions.

Broad Offering of Exhibitors and a Line-up of the Highest Level

As part of GMC Expo, Global Mobility Call has a specialised offering of services, solutions and projects that are already setting the future trends for the sector hand in hand with public and private stakeholders. There will also be a networking platform to promote agreements, collaborations and new business and investment opportunities. 

Meanwhile, GMC Congress will bring together leading international figures from the sector to tackle a series of thematic blocks for the implementation of measures, resources and projects as part of an agenda of content on social mobility. Global Mobility Call is sponsored by the Ministry for Transport and Sustainable Mobility, with the collaboration of the Regional Government of Madrid and Madrid City Council. The event also enjoys the backing of a number of significant partners, including leading companies and public bodies such as the Spanish Federation of Municipalities and Provinces (FEMP) and the Directorate General of Traffic (DGT). The majority of employers’ associations and Spanish and international sectoral associations have also pledged their support.
